Brad.... Brad
has been drawing cars since he was a kid, and was always trying out new
ideas whether on paper or while building those great old model kits in the
60’s. He continued his passion and went on to graduate from the prestigious
Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with a major in
Industrial Design and a minor in Automotive Illustration.
His work has been featured in many publications including Rod and Custom,
Collectible Automobile, Chevy Truck, American Rodder and he has been a
regular contributing artist to Scale Auto Enthusiast for nearly 20 years
giving him the opportunity to explore many new ways of customizing vehicles.
Industrial Design
 | Having a background in Industrial Design gives Brad the skills to
design any product, including automobiles, from the initial sketch to the
finished product. Beginning with a concept and a list of necessary
functions, the project moves from sketch form to projected finished
product color comp drawings, then to the blueprint table. Once completed
the piece goes to 3-D form, generally automotive styling clay, and then
its on to the molders and fabricators for the finished product. |

| Although Brad has designed hundreds of custom cars for the model car
builders, one must agree that his designs are more than just ideas, they
can actually be built full scale! |

| You can see the inspiration for many of his designs are the great
customs of the 1960’s and the courage to say “What if…?” |
Automotive Illustration
|
| With a keen eye for color, and sharp attention to detail, Brad is
capable of illustrating any type of machine from car to motorcycle to
tractor. He uses chalk, marker, ink colored pencil and gouache paints, and
only occasionally makes use of the airbrush on his work. |
Graphic Art
|
| Brad is familiar with the use of several popular computer design and
layout programs, and can utilize this skill to create box art, logo
design, and other graphics for any type of industry. |
Automotive Design & Illustration
 | From concept sketches to full-scale blueprints, let your imagination
be your guide, or allow Brad to offer his own unique talents and eye for
detail to customize any type of automobile. |
